Jorge Rodriguez enters his first season as SUNY Old Westbury assistant men’s soccer coach.
Rodriguez, who totaled 11 points on three goals and five assists in four seasons (2013-16) on campus, graduated Old Westbury in 2017 with a degree in business administration. He contributed as a defensive midfielder to 13 shutouts during his 48-game playing career. During his final two seasons, Rodriguez started 24 of the 29 games he played in. As a senior, he led Old Westbury to the first-round of the Skyline Conference Championship for the program’s first postseason appearance since 2011.
Rodriguez, a native of Bay Shore, New York, is a 2013 graduate of Bay Shore High School.
